        The main objectives are to train and expand the manpower pool in the country, in various fields of ophthalmology,
capable of providing state of the art eye care at primary, secondary and tertiary levels.

Training Courses for Doctors

    • Fellowship in Ophthalmology - 4 years residency program leading to a Fellowship of the College of Physician and       Surgeons (FCPS) of Pakistan.
    • Masters in Surgery (Ophthalmology) - 3 years residency program leading to a Masters in Surgery (MS       Ophthalmology) of Quaid - a - Azam University.
    • Diploma in Ophthalmic Medicine & Surgery - 2 years residency leading to a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DOMS)
      of Quaid - a - Azam University.

Sub-Speciality Fellowship Courses:

    • Pediatric Ophthalmology - 1 year course for FCPS/Equivalent
    • Cornea Refractive Surgery - 1 year course for FCPS/Equivalent
    • Vitreo Retina - 1 year course for FCPS/Equivalent

Short Training Courses:

    •
Micro Surgery - 2 weeks duration course for FCPS/Equivalent
    • Ultrasound/ Biometry - 1 week duration course for FCPS/Equivalent
