Confocal Corneal Microscope

It is a highly specialized piece of equipment used for detailed microscopic examination of cornea for diagnostic, therapeutic and research purposes. In fact it is the most reliable noninvasive method of examining the living human cornea allowing possible magnification levels of approximately 600 times, (Slit-lamp has only 40 times magnification at the most).
